Benjamin, a west African immigrant, enters the US public school system to continue his high school education. He discovers new friends, a new culture, but also new enemies. In a struggle to determine what is right from what is fear induced peer pressure Benjamin endures physical and mental attacks that lead him to make choices he would not had made otherwise.
