Carrie and the girls schmooze at the NYC Fire Department's "Calendar Competition." Samantha gets hot and heavy fulfilling her fireman fantasy with "Mr. July," sparks fly for Carrie when she meets a handsome politico. Miranda and Steve realize their feelings, and Charlotte may have found her Knight in Shining Armor.

Carrie's political consciousness is raised as a new companion lobbies for her affection, but their different sexual code of ethics raises problems. Charlotte decides to throw a "used date" party, Miranda is pushed to confront her ambivalence about Steve, Samantha is conflicted about dating a munchkin who happens to be a powerhouse in bed.

After seeing Big and Natasha's wedding reported in the Times, Carrie runs into the blushing bride in a boutique dressing room - and commits to attending the annual Women in the Arts luncheon. Samantha treats everyone to a day at Bliss Spa, where Charlotte is forced to confront her self-image discomfort.

At an opening hosted by Charlotte's gallery, the girls witness a unique display of photos. Charlotte's male alter-ego emerges during a photo shoot when she surprisingly puts the moves on him. Carrie's new love interest, invites her to a party where they play an equal-opportunity game of Spin the Bottle.

Carrie considers quitting smoking when her habit almost ruins her chances with Aidan. When Samantha starts to date Chivon, brother of a trendy African-American restaurateur named Adeena, she finds out that although her restaurant may have a multi-ethnic focus, Adeena's views on interracial dating aren't quite so liberal.

After an elderly woman in Samantha's apartment building is robbed, the residents look to Samantha as the cause. Miranda finds out that she has an STD and gawks at her sexual history when she is forced to make a "been-with" list that turns out to be longer than expected.

Carrie begins to question her relationship with Aidan, but an unexpected encounter with Mr. Big makes her realize the less drama, the better. Miranda notices that Steve is way too comfortable with their relationship when she discovers she's living with "skidmark man." Charlotte meets an eligible doctor named Trey.

Charlotte tells the girls she thinks her new love Trey may be "the one." Samantha fears that she may be going through "the change of life" until she accidentally ruins someone's $2,000 sheets. Steve and Miranda's relationship takes an unanticipated turn. Carrie has more surprise run-ins with Big.

After a shocking revelation, Carrie and Big fall into their old habits, leading to a night of passion. Charlotte achieves her goal and ends up engaged, but not the way she had hoped. Samantha decides to put her "pick of the week" on a new diet to improve his funky-tasting "spunk."

Can we have it all? Aidan finally says "those three words," leaving Carrie guiltridden about her affair with Big. All is well with Charlotte's new engagement - until Trey springs an all-too-odd prenup on her. Miranda discovers that phone sex can be as fulfilling as the real thing, and just as painful. Samantha, overridden with the flu, panics that she's going to end up alone.

Carrie's affair with Big puts a strain on her relationship with Aidan -- prompting her to seek out advice from the one person she knows will lay down the law: Miranda. Charlotte's wedding plans go awry. Miranda realizes that she is attracted to a man in a sandwich costume. Samantha considers taking an AIDS test.

Charlotte's fast-approaching wedding continues to cause trouble as the bride has a fallout with Samantha over the proper way to wear a bridesmaid's dress while also discovering that Trey may need a dose (or two) of Viagra. Meanwhile, Carrie regrets her decision to confess to Aidan about her affair with Big.

Can you ever really escape your past? Carrie, Miranda, and Samantha are fish out of water in youth-obsessed, no-smoking-anywhere LA. Carrie's development meetings leave her thinking, yet again, about what went wrong with Big. Samantha meets a handsome dildo model, while Miranda is mired in her New York ways. Back east, bedroom matters only get worse for Charlotte and Trey.

In L.A., Carrie is humiliated when her "agent" fling turns out to be a housesitter.

Are we 34 going on 13? Samantha is hired by a very rich 13-year-old girl to plan "the Bat Mitzvah of the Century." Miranda's new flame turns out to be none other than "RoboCock." Charlotte puts aside her prudish ways in an effort to get Trey to do the do the nasty. Carrie is infused with a renewed sense of youth when she meets a new mate - who happens to live at home with his mommy and daddy!

Miranda's date turns into a wake when the guy drops dead. Charlotte and Samantha duke it out over their opposing sexual philosophies. Carrie's seminar on how to meet men is a flop when her students turn on her: if she's such an expert, how come she's still single?

Carrie wonders if her 'cosmic balance' is off after being mugged and tripping down a flight of stairs. Samantha struggles to handle the needs of a college-age virgin. A nervous Miranda over-imbibes while on a date with a gorgeous guy, and Charlotte suggests a trial separation with Trey.

Is it us? Samantha and Carrie conquer the perils of noisy neighbors: Samantha faces off with the loud transsexuals conducting "business" on her block, while Carrie deals with roosters crowing right outside her window. Miranda is convinced the Chinese take-out lady is laughing at her for ordering food alone every night, while Charlotte vows to stop obsessing over Trey once and for all.
