Recollecting on his youth, his royal highness Alfredo, a king without a crown, is taken back to his distant youth, with memories of a time he dreamt of becoming a fireman. He remembers his encounter with an instructor Afonso from the fire brigade who opened a new chapter in his life, as the two young men became immersed in love and desire, and the will to change the status quo.
