Still Game

The upstanding citizens of Craiglang are being terrorised by a gang of local tearaways or "neds". So the old-age pensioners decide to create a secret haven of escape - free from human or canine menace. Meanwhile, Jack and Victor check on their old pal Ronnie, who's recently taken up new residence after being found dancing around Glasgow's George Square in his underwear.

Always keen to keep an eye on their old pals, Jack and Victor are worried that Bert has gone downhill since his wife died and do their level best to raise his spirits. The old pals are keen to work together, but Victor's clumsy technique for emptying a bedpan leaves Jack in damp spirits. Meanwhile Winston has acquired a limp and a home help. Could romance be on the cards?

Jack and Victor are dazzled by the energy and vivacity of their friend Stuart. He lets the boys in on his secret - A "Yankee" wonder drug. They pop a few pills and suddenly have never been keener to kick-off the "Slosh" routine on their local dancefloor.

The oldest cruisers in town, Jack and Victor, have got themselves a new set of wheels. However, the open road turns into a highway to hell for Victor when his pals force him to do all the driving. And things get extra messy when the pub shuts and it comes to chucking-out time. Meanwhile Winston takes on a titanic task as he attempts to get Tam to actually open his wallet.

A money-lender finds no shortage of clients willing to talk turkey in Craiglang. And is it a coincidence that Jack and Victor are splashing the cash like there's no tomorrow? Elsewhere, Scotland might be the home of golf, but Winston and Tam discover their local municipal golf course is hardly the Old Course at St Andrews. The hazards include bunkers, rough and a brush with the local neds.

Navid quits Craiglang temporarily to jet away overseas. He needs someone to mind the shop and Jack and Victor are only too happy to oblige. Alongside Winston the trio offer up service with a smile and soon branch out into offering tasty, hot sustenance for the workers of Craiglang. But a local snack van operator with a chequered history doesn't quite find their menu to his taste.

Just what exactly are Jack and Victor celebrating? As Isa soon deduces in the elevator, they don't need an excuse. The old pals are simply marking six decades of friendship with a big day out. They sample plenty posh nosh in a swanky eaterie. Then visit a museum and take a trip down memory lane. But a ghost from the past threatens to spoil the party.

He doesn't dress like James Bond and he never orders Martinis in the Clansman, so could Pete the Jakey really working for the Secret Service? Jack and Victor have a licence to snoop. Meanwhile, a local politician fails to get the public reaction he was hoping for when he makes his big speech. And when there's a fox on the loose outside Navid's shop, Winston has the pest in his sights.

Victor wins a robot pooch in a pub competition. Meanwhile Isa's ex-Harry is back again and making puppy eyes for his lost love. She quickly turns to Winston to assume the role of her new squeeze so that the old dog will give up and get gone. And Jack's delighted to receive an invite to visit his daughter and her young family in Canada. But who'll end up in the seat beside him on the plane?
