Nancy has relocated to the border in search of a new life but she soon finds her past to be inescapable. Both problems and people follow her on her journey, but some have finally been left behind.

Nancy runs her first courier job for Guillermo across the border, but it doesn't go as planned. Meanwhile, Celia lives trough a tough time in prison, and Andy and his father Lenny face a confrontation on their family history.

Nancy makes her first trip across the Mexico-U.S. border, while Celia strikes a deal to get out of prison.

Nancy takes Andy on a mission after they spend a week sitting shiva; Celia continues her flirtation with Captain Till.

Left behind in the desert by Nancy, Andy joins a group of immigrants to get back home while Nancy has to save Celia who's spy job for Captain Till got her into trouble. In the meantime, Silas and Shane battle with bees.

Nancy sees something she shouldn't have when she follows a secret tunnel; Dean takes a new job and leaves Isabel to live with Celia; Doug falls for a vision of beauty on the beach.

A spontaneous date ends in near-violence for Nancy and Esteban; Silas reveals to Lisa that he grows pot; Andy and Doug smuggle their first customer across the border; Celia becomes an addict.

Nancy confronts her sons regarding matters of the opposite sex; Celia's binge continues; Andy and Doug meet up with El Coyote while searching for Doug's new love in Mexico.

Nancy discovers that the tunnel is being used for more than drug smuggling; Celia's family stages an intervention and forces her into rehab; Andy finds Maria and brings her to Doug; Shane enjoys his two girlfriends.

Nancy deals with Shane's exploits, Silas's sandwich business, and her own recent Ayuasca trip; Celia's conflict with her rehab partner forces her to change facilities; Doug and Maria's relationship sails into rocky waters.

Nancy decides to inform the DEA about the tunnel when she can't take the activities going on anymore. Celia works on her rehabilitation and make amends with her family. Andy falls for Maria and confesses to Doug.

After the tunnel bust, Nancy has to explain her involvement to Esteban. Celia starts looking for her daughter Quinn deep in Mexico, in order to make amends with her. Silas meets Lisa's ex-husband and Doug finds reason to stay alive.
