Battleground Afghanistan

Capt. Ben Middendorf and the men of Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines, enter the most dangerous place in Afghanistan with two objectives: disrupt and destroy the Taliban, without losing a man.

Golf Company must reach and clear a drug baron's compound, and under constant fire they have an even grimmer threat looming in the back of their minds: IEDs.

Golf Company continues their relentless surge, encountering civilians for the first time, and hunting for the enemy's command center.

14 days into Golf Company's mission, Capt. Middendorf has a bead on a Taliban command and control center. And with Taliban forces reeling under his Company's attack, he hopes to land a telling blow before mission's end.

On their last mission before their scheduled return home, Golf Company face one last hurdle while raiding a narcotics processing site: they are separated, and under fire.
