It's the day of Pontypandy's new Ocean Rescue Centre launch and Station Officer Steele is taking the firefighters on a tour of the centre. As they arrive on the quay, so does the new coastguard, Ben Hooper.

As twins Sarah and James can never agree on what kind of birthday party to have, Bronwyn has decided that this year they will have two parties - both going on at the same time. James' will be a science party and Sarah's will be a football party.

When Bronwyn decides she needs to record some relaxing whale song Charlie offers to take her out on the skiff to find a whale. Ben turns up and Bronwyn suggests that as he knows so much about whales, he should come along too.

Whilst doing some kite flying with the other kids, Mandy is inspired to want to fly over Pontypandy Mountain. Hannah tells her that her dad, Joe, has just thing...

It's snowy and Norman is directing his very first movie up in the mountains, starring Mandy and Sarah. Sam and Elvis are also up in the mountains, on their way to a skiing lesson with Penny.

When Joe and Mike discover that Norman is entering Pontypandy's big go-kart race, The Pontypandy Cup, they get very nostalgic about the go-karts they made when they were kids.

The Pontypandy Pioneers are working towards their construction badges and what better way to do it than to build a treehouse under the supervision of Mike Flood! Norman is desperate to be the first one into the treehouse, and so is Derek.

Norman and Derek both try to get into The Gwyneth Book of Records by attempting various daft, record-breaking stunts and trying their hardest to outdo each other.

It's the hottest day of the year in Pontypandy. And when Hannah and Joe go off for a picnic for the day, Joe puts on his latest invention - a solar-powered hat with a fan on it.

When Elvis overhears Station Office Steele saying 'Penny or Elvis has to go', he assumes that either he or Penny are about to lose their job.

A large turtle has been spotted off the coast of Pontypandy, causing lots of excitement. Ben is a marine wildlife enthusiast, so plans to set off with Sam and Steele to attach a camera to the turtle.

Charlie accompanied by Dilys, takes Norman and James to Pontypandy Island. The boys have a map that belonged to the pirate, Pontypandy Pete and are going on a treasure hunt to find pirate gold.

Moose is taking a group on a 'Rock Spotting Trip' up Pontypandy Mountain. Even though they are not supposed to feed the animals, Sarah and Lily start feeding a little sheep.

The quay is abuzz with activity as contestants prepare for the Pontypandy Pet Show, hosted by Tom Thomas and judged by Station Officer Steele.

When Penny damages the fire station pole by reversing Venus into it, Mike & Elvis struggle to get a new pole in place before there's an emergency. Meanwhile Trevor and Dilys take Sarah, Norman, Mandy, and James for a picnic.

When the Mandy, Sarah, Hannah, Lizzie, Helen and Bronwyn set off to see their favourite boy band - One Way Street - Trevor's bus gets stuck in the snow.

Mrs Chen is directing the Pontypandy Players new show about the pirate, Pontypandy Pete. Sam is given the starring role, whilst Norman and Hannah have been tasked with decorating the prop pirate ship.

Mandy decides to give the garden a makeover while her mum, Helen is out at work. She soon puts together her gardening team (Sarah, James, Norman and Mike) and Team Garden Force gets to work to make the garden look amazing.
