Steve Bennett, an honest stockbroker, takes a bet from his boss, T. T. Ralston, and some colleagues that he cannot tell the truth for a full twenty-four hours. As Steve sticks to honesty, he ends up offending guests on Ralston's yacht, and the situation quickly spirals, putting everyone's secrets at risk before the twenty-four hours run out.
