Izzy Morales (Otmara Marrero) begins her quest to build GenCoin, a revolutionary cryptocurrency. Loan officer Nick Talman (Adam Brody) is tasked by his estranged father, Andy (Carl Weintraub), to hide some questionable funds - which Nick then uses to partner with Izzy. Ronald Dacey (Edi Gathegi) deals with the perils of the streets while making a concerning discovery about his gang's money...

Nick and Izzy scramble to get Ronald his money in cash. Rask ramps up his efforts to find Andy just in time to be assigned a new partner, Maddie (Jocelin Donahue). With the violence surrounding him a growing threat to his family, Ronald reconsiders Izzy's pitch.

Nick, Izzy, and Ronald begin the fundraising process with discouraging results. Rask and Maddie catch wind of GenCoin's formation as Andy tells Nick the truth about Rask. Ronald tries to capitalize on his friendship with a celebrated figure who made it out of Little Haiti. After returning Andy's money, Nick makes a promising connection.\n
