Follavoine, a porcelain manufacturer, has developed an unbreakable chamber pot and hopes to win an exclusive contract with the French Army. He is waiting for Chouilloux, an official of the Ministry of the Army, who will decide on the awarding of the contract. But Follavoine, definitely, is not helped on that day: everything seems to be in place to ruin his opportunity.
