Honza buys a house in the foothills on the outskirts of a village, and there he settles in with his wife Marketa and his daughter Anyna. Honza works as a forest labourer and Marketa earns a living as a masseuse and alternative healer. Anyna attends a faraway school where her grades deteriorate as she wanders the woods learning from from nature rather than textbooks.
