Officer Hayes trains new SWAT recruits on the hazards of tear gas when the team gets called to resolve a domestic dispute. Sergeant Shepherd tries to put an end to an escalating gang war.

Officer Brasgalla is called away from a birthday party when a barricaded gunman allegedly starts shooting off in a residential neighborhood. Later, Sergeant Dollinger leads an Internal Affairs raid.

Officer Weekley and the team are called to the scene of a barricaded gunman who is possibly schizophrenic and off his medication. Brasgalla joins the rest of SWAT team for an intense narcotics raid.
