Jim Shockey's Rogue River Men

The Rogue River Men are back for another season. The guides all arrive at base camp en route to their individual camps in preparation for the arrival of their clients. kwhunting kwadventure

With the clients arriving, the hunting begins. Out of the gate, the hunting is slow, testing the patience of each camp. Donny's client Kelly is given her first shot at an Alaskan Bull Moose only to find out its harder than it looks.

The switch is flipped and the Moose Rut kicks in. Each guide must take advantage of this short window. Matts client, Dave Leon is recovering from a recent accident and must dig deep to get the job done.

Persistence, patience and a positive attitude are essential to a successful hunt. The men of Rogue River end their first round of hunters with a bang. Donny and his client Sam are heading to a lake no one has ever hunted.

The second set of hunters arrive to each camp. Jim is stuck in Russia, so Wojo leaves base camp to hunt with Eva Shockey. Donny is discovering his back pack hunt isn't going as planned.

Steve and Chad become heroes within the first hour of the first day. This sets the bar for the rest of the guides and places pressure on them all, including their clients. Jim Shockey arrives from Russia with only 4 days to hunt for his moose. Donny and Sam are over run by wolves, things are not looking good.

As a guide, Matt is feeling the pressure. The moose have vanished and now the second guessing begins. Roddy and his client are given the chance of a lifetime. Donny and Sam have asked to leave the hunting area when something unexplainable happens.

It's all down to Matt and Jared. Emotions are tense and the stakes are high as it's all or nothing on the final day of the their hunt.
