R.I.P. Henry

Grouchy surgeon Henry is planning to move out of the sleepy town of Odda when he finds himself feeling mysteriously ill. After experiencing some visual disturbances, he performs a CT scan on himself.

Health deteriorating, Henry searches for a potential cure for his tumor in secret, going so far as to steal a patient’s identity so that he can prescribe himself painkillers. Meanwhile, the story behind his late wife's death is revealed.

After Ola Nilsen's death, Henry resorts to using his body as a medical trial. A shock revelation upsets the hospital staff.

Agnes searches for a cure for a patient's mysterious illness and Henry travels to Bergen while on call in Odda. When a pregnant woman is experiencing severe bleeding, and he and Agnes must return at record speed.

Henry's condition begins to affect his work life as his colleagues notice his erratic behavior. In Odda, there is a protest rally against shutting down the hospital's emergency department.

After he is dismissed from the hospital, Henry goes on a woodland retreat to try and cure his illness. He hates alternative medicine, but what else can he try?

At an all-time low, Henry turns to local youths for drugs to help with his tremors. Agnes and Henry connect on a hike up the mountains and he opens up to her about his condition.

Henry and Agnes give Ola a funeral. A tragic accident involving a bus full of the students from the school’s marching band, including Pernille’s daughter, brings Henry back to the operating theatre.
