Vic (Christopher Walken) is a struggling auto mechanic and family man with a safe cracking past and a lot of debt. When young Michael appears on his doorstep, claiming to be a cousin from Ireland, Vic reluctantly offers shelter and assistance. Michael wants to benefit from the man he believes is a successful mobster. What he finds in Vic is completely different. When Michael joins forces with neighborhood guys looking for an easy score, Vic is backed into a corner where one last heist seems the only way out.
