Moving On

Jo's life seems perfect from the outside: she is married to police officer Steve and has two young children. But she becomes bored in her role a housewife and when she accidentally shop-lifts, she gets a buzz and keeps stealing.

When his mother is put in long-term care, struggling postman Paul is relieved when she insists that he and his family move in with his elderly father in their home. When Paul's father signs the house over to him, Paul never thought his well-off sister would be bothered by the decision.

Fresh-out-of-school teacher Amani starts work at a rough school where the students have no interest in learning and constantly test her patience. When Amani lashes out at them, she is reported, but then she tells a lie that wins over her students and faculty.

One day 14-year-old Beth refuses to speak. Her family and a child psychologist are unable to get her to talk again, which causes some discord in the family. But does her father possibly know the real reason for Beth's silence?
