Moonshine season in Appalachia has begun.Tim and Tickle are back, plus two rookies and a pair of old school shiners-all looking to grab a piece of a $100 million dollar jackpot-tax free.But with a new lawman in town, everyone will be watching their backs.

Josh & Bill make a breakthrough on their underground still, but 8 tons of clay threatens to bury them alive. Mark & Jeff build a new copper still and head deep into the mountains to establish a new site. Tickle lures Tim back to their illegal site.

Mark & Jeff call in legendary moonshiner Jim Tom to help fix their busted still. Then, it's man vs beast when Mark hunts down a giant wild hog that's been stalking their site. Meanwhile, Deputy Sheriff Chuck gets a tip from a hunter that pays off.

A monster storm hits the Carolinas and Jeff, Mark and Jim Tom risk their lives to run a batch of shine.Nearby, Josh and Bill fall prey to the same storm when a flood threatens their underground still site.Then, Tickle goes rogue and makes a very bad move.

Tickle splits from Tim, recruits a new still hand, and heads into the woods to scout a new site. Mark, Jeff & Jim Tom double down and begin work on a second still to run barley scotch. Then, Deputy Sheriff Chuck infiltrates an active moonshine operation.

Tickle builds a new still and heads on a midnight run. Josh goes ballistic when he damages the nearly completed underground still site. Mark & Jeff make a risky move when they sell their shine in town. Jim Tom teaches Jeff's son Lance how to proof shine.

Tickle goes it alone after his still hand Howard gets spooked by an intruder and disappears. Josh & Bill discover toxic black mold in their underground still site. Jeff's wife and son set up a second still to run barley scotch.

Tickle gets busted by an angry landowner, while Tim devises an ingenious new hiding spot for his back-up stash of shine. Then, Josh & Bill get into a bone-breaking fight at their new still site. Also, Mark bootlegs moonshine by canoe in the dead of night.

Gunfire erupts in the bamboo patch just as Josh & Bill fire up their still for the first time this season. Meanwhile, Jeff, Mark & Jim Tom run a batch of President George Washington's rye whiskey. Then, Tickle hits the skids when his still is sabotaged.
