The 50th of 66 Hopalong Cassidy films finds Hoppy in a vengeful mood. When his good friend Tim Mason is unjustly sent to jail and then killed when trying to escape, Hoppy's bitterness gets him drummed out of the Texas Rangers. With the help of his pals "California" Carson and Jimmy Rogers, he sets out to expose the real culprits and clear Tim's name.
