Brian travels to St. Augustine, FL to explore the oldest continuously occupied settlement of European origin in the United States. With the help of Interpretive Ranger for the National Park Service, Allen Arnold, and historian, Andy Nance, we take a look at the oldest structure in St. Augustine, Castillo de San Marcos, and journey back in time through centuries of history at Colonial Quarter.

Brian visits Fraunces Tavern in Manhattan, steeped in 300 years of history. With Museum Director Jessica B. Phillips and Historian Richard Brookhiser, Brian relives George Washington's farewell to his officers there. Joe Connor shares insights on a past terrorist attack at the tavern, where his father was a victim.

Brian travels to San Antonio, TX to visit the shrine to Texas freedom: The Alamo. Joined by curator, Bruce Winders, and historian and author, Douglas Brinkley, they explore the events that led up to the 13-day siege that represented raw courage, valor, and country, and they discuss how the battle to protect the Alamo endures today.

Brian travels to Washington, D.C. to explore one of the most famous sites on the National Mall: The Lincoln Memorial. With the help of former Secretary of The Interior, Ryan Zinke, Brian discovers an unseen, cavernous 43,800 square foot basement filled with supportive cathedral columns and historical graffiti from way back in 1914, during the national monument's original construction.

Brian visits Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's home, with Gary Sandling's guidance. He explores Jefferson's daily-used rooms. Archaeologists Ptacek and Wheeler reveal recent finds. Brandon Dillard and Calvin Jefferson discuss the controversial aspect of Jefferson's life: his role as a slaveholder.
