Mythical Roads

Wandering " in the footsteps of Che " and those of his fellow travelers, Marc Mopty follows the steps of Commander Ernesto Guevara. From the chaotic collision in the Sierra Maestra with Fidel Castro's crew in 1956 to the victory against the Batista regime, two years later. Marc Mopty starts his journey visiting Havana first.

Along the way, he meets people with a thousand faces and lifestyles, from the Bushmen San to the red Himba women. By their side, he discovers this "wisdom of water", which is the real wealth of Namibia.

While Americans have lived the mythical "Conquest of the West", the Russians have known the East one. The Russian "Far East" - known for its extreme geographical situation and climate- has very quickly stirred up the passions of the people. The very last conquered territory was the Amur basin, currently located across the China border and the Vladivostok region.

After Gods Roads, Kings Road and Silver Road, Christophe Cousin darts ahead on "the path of truancy." Accustomed to distant destinations, he travels to France to meet those who have decided to free themselves from formal conventions and system to follow their personal legend.

They are called the "Baltic States": Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, three countries on the Baltic sea which have a common destiny but different identities. This 1000-kilometer road begins in the North of Poland, in the Kachoubie area near Gdansk. In each country, the director Agnieszka Ziarek meets real, warm and caring characters.

The director Marc Mopty leads us at the end of the world, in Argentina, in The Land on Fire. After having crossed the island of the Land of Fire and met the "first" people -the Selknam- he arrives in Ushuaia, a city which travellers in search of adventures dream of. The director continues his trip to Antarctica, called the white planet, the 7th continent.
