Ninety years ago, vampire Hal and werewolf Lady Catherine attempted to end the war created by the Devil through the Trinity, between werewolves and vampires. In the present Alex, discovering that she drowned, searches for her body with Tom's help so that she may pass over.

As Hal and Tom go head to head as employee of the month - an idea suggested by Hatch, who likes to see vampires and werewolves at odds - Alex discovers another ghost in the house.

Having scared off his predecessor, Hal is now manager at the Grand Hatch. When disgruntled TV weatherman Larry Chrysler comes to make a personal appearance Tom recognizes him as a fellow werewolf and invites him to stay at the house and school him in the ways of success.

Crumb has found his bloody way in the world with a new pal in tow. When Rook approaches Hal to get them under control, Hal is unable to refuse - he owes Rook a favor after all.

Tom rescues a young woman named Natasha, hires her as waitress and falls for her, unaware that Rook is using her in the plot with Hatch to drive a wedge between the vampires and werewolves.

The supernatural trinity has been broken and there is little left of Hal's humanity. Having feasted on human blood and recruited an army of vampires, he's ready to return to his hedonistic and debauched days. Tom is set on revenge and has returned to his default setting - vampire killer. Alex has been trapped in her own coffin by Captain Hatch, but swears to escape and stop him.
