Zagreb releases a book revealing the truth surrounding the Bulls' various questionable adventures, depicting the team and team culture in a shady light, and fueling divisions between the normally civil roster.

The Bulls take a chance on a rehabilitated convict, inviting him to potentially become the team's starting quarterback. In the process, they invite a wave of criticism and controversy from the players and administration alike. The prisoner commits to changing his violent ways for the better, much to the surprise and contentment of his teammates.

A mysterious woman enters T.D.'s life with a lot of troubling and unforeseen baggage, while Johnny Gunn finds himself in the middle of a testy situation after Westwood schedules him for a surgery without his consent. Dr. Death is caught in the middle of a miscommunication involving a gay billionaire.

The Bulls take a gamble on a flashy young player whose father insists on being a personal sideline coach to the young star, inevitably leading to friction between the father and head coach. Questions arise concerning the team's ability to function. Dr. Death is caught in a trance by a mysterious cult that's focused on transforming him into a pacifistic purveyor of peace and love.

A romance begins to bud between T.D. and Kristy, though professional obligations convolute the situation, making it much more forbidden the more they both want it. In fact, it seems like every player on the roster is struggling with their own respective dating issues, with amplifying courtships causing confusion and frustration for nearly everyone involved, leading to mass frustrations abound.

Billy Cooper finds himself, and by proxy, the entire Bulls Organization, in a swarm of trouble and bad publicity after a drunken driving incident leaves his companion in critical condition. Ernie finds himself adjacently entangled in some drama of his own when his ex-wife reappears out of the blue.

The Bulls are buried beneath an insurmountable scandal involving a star player allegedly receiving bounty incentives for knocking out opponents for a hefty financial sum. Westwood does everything in his power to keep his name clean and avoid any and all implications of involvement, or worse: direct responsibility.

Some of the Bulls players take a gaggle of beautiful women to a house in the woods, though the premises appears to be more harrowing than originally anticipated. With the atmosphere and surroundings giving off a vibe of impending doom, the players realize that they're in over their heads in the remote forest.

While Westwood skates on thin ice over an accusation of sexual assault and the existence of embarrassing photographs of himself, Johnny Gunn attempts to begin a relationship with a stripper who has an unhealthy relationship with her manager.

The Bulls administration is getting fed up with questionable and shady referee calls, which comes at an especially inconvenient time with the playoffs creeping down their necks. Kristy is forced to confront the commissioner about the perpetuation of shoddy officiating and its potentially illegal influence on the Bulls' dreams of grandeur.

Kristy's estranged husband returns, complicating matters for her personally and professionally. Furthermore, Gunn suffers an injury during practice that puts their championship chances in jeopardy. Making matters worse is her husband's gambling addiction, which takes a negative role on both the play calling and their already tumultuous relationship.

T.D.'s son finds himself in a heap of danger after he gets involved with small-time gangsters to support his drug habit, bringing Ernie down with him. Though Ernie initially attempts to rehabilitate the kid and help him out of the perilous predicament, he is ultimately stabbed in the back and robbed by the gangsters from whom he helped the kid separate himself.

A prank-happy Bulls team takes their festivities too far, causing pandemonium and paranoia throughout the roster and administration, to the point that Coach Denardo considers retiring. Meanwhile, Dr. Death joins a program to help terminally-ill children, though his assignment is nothing like what he expected.

Jonny Gunn is kidnapped and held for ransom, leading to team-wide turmoil and national uncertainty as to whether the young and rising star will make it to the approaching championship alive. With the deadline nearing day by day, and Gunn's captors becoming hostile, fans and players alike are struggling to grasp the possibilities that could fall on Gunn and his potentially fatal situation.
