Last season Peter bought a Boss 429. The previous owner assured Peter that "all the parts are there". They're there alright, including the cracked block and the cracked heads. How will the new owner feel when the engine repair starts at $18,000? Gary meets a customer who has a leaky Talbot Logo race car. After driving the car Gary realises, this is not a leak, this is a flood!

Gary gets a chance to look at an original 63 Cobra. The owner makes it clear that he'a not selling. But after a period of time the owner calls and says he may be in the mood. Peter is asked to come look at three family owned Cadillacs that now belonged to two sisters. The price is not what interests Peter, but rather the stories about why their dad bought the cars to store bars of pure silver.

Pete and Gary get invited to the Kuwait Concours D'Elegance. So they prepare and ship a 1919 Pierce Arrow over and board a plane wondering what to expect from a part of the world that neither of them has visited before. As much as meeting people and looking at cars at the Concours is important, Pete and Gary also can't resist the urge to get out to try and hook up with real, regular car guys.

Ford GTs are hot. So when two separate customers walk into LMC and both guys want one, Pete and Gary are happy. But instead of buying the cars, both guys want to do some sort of trade. Let the bargaining begin!

Peter finds himself holding a Ferrari 206 SP. The biggest question is this car actually original? He decides to bring in Ferrari expert Marcel Massini to perform an evaluation. If Marcel's decision goes the wrong way it could be very costly news for Peter. Peter has also recently bought a 1997 Porsche GT2 race car. Before it's sold it needs to be shaken down on a track. Gary is happy to oblige.

Gary loves original cars, so when he hears about a motivated seller of an 82 Datsun 280Z he hooks up the trailer and heads out. But is an all original 280Z really a collectable car? Gary also knows that a 68 Chevelle is a desirable car so when a detailer buddy gives him a heads up on a car that is currently being worked on in his shop, its move fast or miss the deal.

Peter and Gary take a 1919 Pierce Arrow the Barrett Jackson auction in Scottsdale with the hope of seeing the car bring a good number. They are also hoping to do some buying. But when Gary gets ushered offstage by security while Peter is away trying to get the Pierce started, the whole weekend is put in jeopardy.

Pete gets a call informing him of an original 68 split window Corvette. There is no time to get there so Pete walks his spotter through the deal. When the car arrives, Peter and Gary disagree on what to do with this car. It has a CB whip antenna, a humidor, a suit rack and locking hood. If this car is going to auction should this car be left as is? Or should it be put back to original condition?

When Peter sends Gary to look at Ferrari 308 they are assuming its a regular car and can be bought at a regular price. But as Gary digs into the car some questions start to arise. Is this one of the fiberglass bodied 308s? And if so, whats it worth compared to a steel bodied 308? Jim Grundy of Grundy Worldwide is the man to answer a question like that.

When Peter gets an email asking about a full restoration on a very rough GTO Judge Ram Air 4 he's not sure what to think. Then when the same guy asks to buy a Ram Air Trans Am it becomes obvious to Pete that this guy is not fooling around. Gary gets a call about a 51 Aston Martin and he is happy to try and sell this car. But when the buyer walks in and is in his 20s he can't help but be surprised.

As the value of race cars starts to climb Peter decides to start hunting for some NASCAR race cars with good stories and good histories. Where could he find such cars? The Hendricks Motorsports shop in Charlotte would be a fabulous start.

When really good cars are available to be bought Peter and Gary will go just about anywhere to find them. So when they hear about a 300SL Mercedes and a very rare 59 Ferrari 250 GT in California they hit the road. After all that travel is it really possible they could come home empty handed?

When Peter gets a chance to buy a rare Hemi Cuda convertible he can't help but jump on the car. When he gets the chance to make the car look better than it ever, he has to get to work because the only place to really show this car off is at the greatest muscle car show in the world, the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show in Chicago.
