Orlando has all the air of a loser: in his 40s, he lives by the day on the banks of the Po, lazy, lonely and on his way to surrender. That is, until the earthquake of 2012 forces him to put himself back in the game, among grandchildren to care for, old loves resurfacing from the past, and a music band to get back on his feet.
