Ben and Erin help their best friends turn a dilapidated 1930s department store into Laurel's first boutique hotel. With crushing financial risks and six months to open, they must finish a prototype room to secure bookings.

To help bring in cash, Ben and Erin help their friends open the first public retail space in the hotel, Scotsman Company. Tensions rise as money's tight with a big loan delayed, but a newly discovered space offers hope if they can agree on how to use it.

Although the friends insist on no restaurants, the group finds a way to integrate a food concept into the hotel with the help of a local expert to curate a uniquely Southern experience. Plus, a new lounge space is revealed for guests, events and revenue.

It's a race to finish the hotel! With rooms, an elevator, and the lobby still unfinished, a last-minute disaster threatens the hotel's holiday opening, as well as crucial bookings. And at last, the hotel gets its name.
