Thelma gives a dinner party for her new boyfriend with such sensational results that Florida rushes home from Arizona to see what's happening. College football star Keith Anderson proves adept at making as many points with the Evanses as he does on the field.

Wedding bells are ringing for Thelma and Keith but they may not be heard over their arguing. Florida arrives home for her daughter's wedding, and discovers more heartbreak than happiness in the household.
