He stared in the performing arts in hands of Germana Quintana in 1994 as Assistant Director and Lights ( " Educando a un Sinvergüenza " ) for Theatre Company Club Arroyo. In 1995 , the same director assigned his first acting role ( "Monja o Detective" ) and has since working on 21 plays ( "Visiting Mr. Green " , " Toc - Toc " ), 20 feature films ( " Biodegradable " " No Hay Más Remedio ", " La Gunguna " , "Flor de Azúcar " , " Y a Dios que me Perdone !" ), 4 short films, 3 mini TV series, one short for Internet , 3 industrial shorts , one voice commercial for Radio and 5 TV commercials. He has trained in acting techniques, stage space, creativity, management of voice, voice-over dubbing, singing, building characters, etc. Francis studied in Cuba "Technical Meisner / Mamet for Directors and Actors" at the International School of Film and Television of San Antonio de los Baños with professors Stephen Bayle (Actor's Temple, England) and Mary Gowland (Argentina). In 2013 it constitutes "Hutia Productions" being the worldwide hit "Visiting Mr. Green" his first theatrical production, which also stars alongside Ivan Garcia, scoring three nominations "Soberano's Awards" in Dominican Republic. Francis Cruz has worked under the direction of: Angel Muniz, Otto W. Retzer (Austria), Juan Basanta, Luisito Martí, Archie López , Alfonso Rodriguez, Javier Balaguer (Spain), Cesar Rodriguez, Neri Parentis (Italy), Fernando Báez Mella, Jose Enrique Pintor, Vicenzo Marano (France), Ronnie Oscar Castillo, Ernesto Alemany, Vicenzo Marano (Italy), among others.
