Rachel Daigh
Actor, Producer, Writer
Rachel Daigh is an award-winning actress, writer, producer, and medical advisor whose career uniquely bridges authentic storytelling with real-world expertise. Drawing from a diverse background in emergency medicine, archaeology, and television production, she has built a reputation for bringing exceptional authenticity to both the stories she creates and the productions she helps bring to life. Rachel began her career as an EMT and Cadet with the Phoenix Fire Department before studying Anthropology with a concentration in Archaeology at San Diego State University. Those formative experiences continue to shape her work today, providing a rare foundation that allows her to portray complex characters and advise productions with a level of realism seldom found in Hollywood. Throughout her career, Rachel has contributed to some of television's most recognizable series, including 9-1-1, St. Denis Medical, American Crime Story, Veep, and Angie Tribeca, serving in a variety of capacities as an actress, medical advisor, technical consultant, and creative collaborator. Her ability to seamlessly translate emergency medicine and real-world experience into compelling on-screen storytelling has made her a trusted resource for productions where authenticity is essential. A lifelong storyteller, Rachel began writing screenplays, novels, children's books, and poetry at the age of eight. After working in archaeology and cultural resource management, she transitioned full-time into the entertainment industry, quickly establishing herself as a versatile creative force both in front of and behind the camera. Her producing debut, Victims (2017), became a festival standout, earning multiple awards including Best Original Story, Best Drama, Best Actress, Best Ensemble Cast, and Best First-Time Director. Since then, she has appeared alongside acclaimed actors including James Cosmo (Game of Thrones) and collaborated with Academy Award and Emmy Award-winning performers including Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, and Rob Lowe. Rachel currently serves as the Medical Advisor and appears as an actress on NBC's hit comedy series St. Denis Medical. She is also a writer and producer on the Great American Family series County Rescue, further expanding her reputation for developing emotionally resonant, research-driven television. Her producing slate includes multiple scripted television and feature film projects currently in development across the United States and internationally. Among them is a landmark series she created, wrote, and is producing that explores Biblical archaeology throughout the Middle East, blending historical investigation, cultural discovery, and cinematic storytelling. Outside of film and television, Rachel remains deeply connected to the disciplines that first inspired her career. An accomplished Divemaster and passionate explorer, she has spent years pursuing underwater archaeology, marine conservation, and expeditions that combine history, science, and adventure. Her fascination with ancient civilizations and the world's hidden stories continues to influence the projects she develops today. Today, Rachel continues to develop premium television and feature films that combine compelling entertainment with historical depth, medical authenticity, cultural insight, and meaningful human stories. Whether advising major network productions, creating original series, or producing internationally focused projects, her work is driven by a commitment to authenticity, emotional truth, and stories that leave a lasting impact.
