Born November 5, 2000 in Ra'anana, Israel
Yuval Raphael is an Israeli singer and songwriter. She spent three years of her childhood living in Geneva, Switzerland, where she was exposed to a diverse musical landscape. Yuval began singing professionally in 2023 and quickly gained recognition for her powerful voice and captivating performances. In October 2023, Yuval attended the Nova Sukkot Gathering music festival in Re'im, where she survived a tragic attack by Hamas militants. She hid inside a bomb shelter for eight hours, sustaining shrapnel injuries, and was one of the 11 survivors of the attack. Yuval later shared her harrowing experience in a speech before the United Nations Human Rights Council. In November 2024, Yuval auditioned for the eleventh season of HaKokhav HaBa, Israel's national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. She advanced through multiple rounds with standout performances of songs like "Anyone" and "Dancing Queen". Yuval ranked first in the final and was chosen to represent Israel at Eurovision 20251.
